A riverside stroll along the Thames
You can not beat a walk along a river. It is a bankside stroll without the roar of passing traffic and with some of the best panoramic views of London.
Since Shakespeare’s time Londoners have looked on the South Bank as the place to have fun. In fact his theatre is still there, just downstream from the National Theatre with concerts, films and plays. There are markets, musicians and book sellers with cafes and restaurants looking across the Thames.
This is a stroll for chilling out on a sunny day.
